I am the owner of Get Creative2, an avian education and enrichment business that I created in 2015.  I am a retired public school teacher, and have shared my life with parrots for over three decades.   I was the Volunteer Coordinator for The Gabriel Foundation in Elizabeth, Colorado for three years as well as the core team Volunteer Coordinator and Education Manager for Metro Denver Parrot Rescue for two-and-a-half years.  I also co-created and produced a parrot nutrition video, "Parrot Nutrition Made Easy."  I parlayed my years of classroom experience and  knowledge of parrots into teaching fun and education hands-on avian workshops for parrot welfare organizations and bird clubs, as well as designing and constructing a unique line of parrot toys, perches and swings.   Many of my original GC2 products feature beautiful Ponderosa Pine from the woods on the ranch in Elbert, Colorado that I share with my husband, dogs, and, of course, parrots.
